These services include personal care, shopping, housekeeping, meal preparation, and assistance with medication as an alternative to long-term care in a nursing facility. These services are usually paid for by the patients or their families. Some long term care or nursing home policies will cover this service, but the patient or family must pay first and then submit the paid receipts to be reimbursed.
